TLDC continues to champion premium university living

TLDC has become a household name for premium residences.

It started out as a niche developer, filling a gap in the property market that many had overlooked.

Twenty six years since Torre Lorenzo Development Corp. (TLDC) built its first condominium in Manila, the company has managed to become a household name as far as student-centric high rises are concerned.

Enhancing quality of living

Its chairman and president Tomas P. Lorenzo took a chance in changing the college students’ quality of living.

“Coming back from the U.S., I saw how students here were living and why they’re complaining about these buildings they’re staying in. And I said, maybe this is a market we can tap,” Lorenzo had said in a previous interview with Inquirer Property.

“It was, for me, something we could do that nobody else was getting into. And it just worked out because we provided what students needed—which were primarily quality and security,” he earlier said.

Lorenzo then saw the need for better accommodations, with facilities that made living away from home more comfortable for students and services that provided peace of mind for parents.

TLDC redefined university living.

Redefining university living

TLDC’s flagship project, 1 Torre Lorenzo, redefined university living when it rose on the corner of Taft Avenue and Pablo Ocampo Street in Manila in 2000. The 21-story condominium allowed for privacy, security, and space that were rarely found in student residences in the city.

It also came with creature comforts that support a college student’s academic and lifestyle needs. Its amenities include a fitness center, swimming pool, study hall and function room.

Just steps away from De La Salle University, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and St. Scholastica’s College, it was easily every dormer’s dream home away from home.

TLDC builds premium residences that make university life more comfortable.

Expanding portfolio

Following the success of 1Torre Lorenzo, the property developer built more premium university residences in the metro: 2Torre Lorenzo along Taft Avenue and 3Torre Lorenzo on Pablo Ocampo Street, also within walking distance to DLSU, DLSU-CSB and SSC; Torre Lorenzo Malate, near University of the Philippines Manila and St. Paul University Manila; Torre Central and the upcoming Vertica Torre Lorenzo, both in Sampaloc, and a stone’s throw from University of Santo Tomas; and Torre Lorenzo Loyola East and West Towers in Loyola Heights, Quezon City, near Ateneo de Manila University.

All of these also come with amenities such as study lounges, which were designed to provide a conducive learning environment and recreational spaces such as gyms, pools, visitor lounges and sky decks.

Residents can have their classmates over and make use of the meeting or discussion rooms for group projects.

TLDC has also seen to it that parents are spared from worrying about their children’s safety. Every building is provided with 24/7 security.

Radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems limit access to the premises which means that only residents with access cards can enter the condos. The company takes pride in its exceptional property management team which ensures that every condominium is well-maintained, clean, secure and that all facilities are in good condition.

Newest addition

Its commitment to deliver uncompromised quality and meticulously designed spaces continues as TLDC prepares to soon launch its newest premium university residence along Leon Guinto Street in Manila.

This newest addition is expected to provide more students in the metro a better university living experience–an exceptional standard that TLDC has pioneered and excelled in for nearly three decades in the industry.
